I received the Ph.D. degree in the field of Process Systems Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India, in 2019. From September 2019 till March 2022, I worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Computer Process Control Group, Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, and from April 2022 till May 2023, as a Senior Data Scientist at Gyan Data Pvt. Ltd., IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai. Currently I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Jodhpur. My research/learning interests include predictive modeling, causal inference, machine learning, compressed sensing, model predictive control, and control performance assessment.

• 2 years of overlapping experience in research, development and deployment of inferential soft sensors for a metallurgical process at Teck Metals, Canada.
