Dr. Mriganka's area of research is in the field of Theoretical Computer Science, specifically Cryptography and Network Security. They have a background in various aspects of cryptography, including Quantum Encryption with Classical Communication, Multivariate Public-Key Cryptosystems, and Blockchain Technology. They have held various positions as a postdoctoral researcher and visiting scientist at institutions in India, Taiwan, and Japan. They had completed their Ph.D. at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, under the supervision of Prof. Ratna Dutta. They also hold a M.Sc. from the Department of Pure Mathematics, University of Calcutta, and a bachelor's in Mathematics from the Barasat Govt. College, University of Calcutta.
