I am working as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur), India.
I graduated in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech.) from the University of Pune in 2007, followed by M.Tech. and Ph. D. Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2010 and 2015, respectively. My Ph.D. research was based on the development of CFD code based on the lattice Boltzmann method for convective heat transfer problems.
My current area of research is CFD, LBM, Magneto-convection, Nanofluidics, Energy materials, etc. After completion of Ph.D., I joined UPES Dehradun as Assistant Professor in 2015 and, subsequently moved to NIT Rourkela in March 2018 as an Assistant Professor of the Chemical Engineering department.
Currently, I am working on the following themes:
1. Magnetohydrodynamics-based convection
2. Experimental as well as numerical study of thermal energy storage systems.
3. Development of aerogels for different applications.
