He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of IIT Jodhpur. Their research areas include Ultra-precision Finishing, LASER-based Additive Manufacturing, Thermal Spray Coating, Bio-compatible materials and coatings, and Tribology. Prior to joining IIT Jodhpur, they worked as a National Post-Doctoral Fellow (NPDF) at IIT Bombay, where their post-doctoral research focused on the Laser directed energy deposition (LDED) of metal matrix composite (MMC) and biocompatible coatings. They completed their Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, where their research focused on Ultra-precision finishing of thermally sprayed WC-Co coating.
