Abstract
In this note, the application of dual-phase damping to a simple shock mount experiencing a harmonic input is described. The damping ratio is a function of the relative displacement between the foundation and the mounted mass. The purpose of employing such a damping is to reduce the absolute transmissibility over the whole frequency range. © 1975, Academic Press Inc. (London) Limited. All rights reserved.
