Multimodal data mining refers to analyzing more than one form of data for discovering hidden patterns. multimodal data analytics offer immense opportunities to integrate text, visual, audio, sensor data and structured information to derive and validate insights none of which may be possible to obtain from any single source. In this chapter, we have examined different aspects of dealing with big multimodal data. We have presented an example of cross-modal information integration between text and image.
