Abstract
In the above paper,1 the proof given for Theorem (3.1) is inconsistent; in this note a modified proof is suggested. To prove Theorem 3.1-i) and Theorem 3.1-ii) in the above paper1 are equivalent, the authors have assumed without loss of generality that the gain matrix has the form K = MEi. Then, to make (3.7) and (3.1) equivalent, they introduced the matrix L = M — B'P. © 1994 IEEE
